We Begin.

For over a year I have procrastinated about getting my blog back. Every excuse not to do that appeared, including the domain becoming owned by someone in Hong Kong, to I’m too busy, to, well I can’t create the blog without all the previous posts. I can’t create it, as now I have to add THE to my name in order to change the domain, and who will think I’m egotistical because I added THE to my name. Look how our thoughts complicate everthing. My blog has to be perfect and make the right impression, and change the world overnight. You know, the every day wish we all have.

Then the classic ultimate excuse, who cares anyway?

Well, I care and I love to write and here I am, jumping in and bringing the blog back, just because I want to.

Thank you to Frank, Karen and David G for helping get it back on its feet, and for the many who said “I miss your posts.”

Energy is contagious. Invite for a good cup of tea, the people surrounding you who reflect your joy, hopes and dreams. Never take them for granted. Thank those who support you while you sit at your lowest place, knowing they may not have found that easy, and yet they still did it. Return the favor. We all face challenges, and in isolation fear will grow and feed upon itself. Honest support from others will help you move away from that buffet. Bring in the professionals when you need, because life will spiral faster than a wheel in a spinning class. We are not solo projects.

I share that, because I am in tremendous gratitude for friends who have been by my side and I recognize that my fear of not belonging, is incorrect, because I do belong. I have not been thrown away. I’m here and I’ve opened the door again as I hit “publish this blog”. Not perfect, not properly cooked, yet genunine, from the heart and very much me. My blog is back. Lets do it together as we begin, and see what happens next.
